Citroen’s small electric car arrives in Portugal in September. Prices start from 7350 euros – car

Citroën AMI, a small electric car that can be driven from the age of 16 without the need for a license, will arrive in Portugal in September, the French brand announced this Tuesday in a statement.

The price of the car starts from 7,350 euros and goes up to 8,710 euros, depending on the version chosen. The model aimed at professionals, the AMI Cargo, costs 7,750 euros.

Purchases are made exclusively online, and can also be made at participating Citroën points of sale and the network of participating FNAC stores.

The cheapest version, or entry, is the AMI AMI, and it costs 7,350 euros. Here are the custom and more equipped versions called MY AMI Orange, MY AMI Khaki, MY AMI Gray and MY AMI Blue, priced at 7,750 euros, as well as two packages: AMI Pop (8,250 euros) and AMI Vibe (8710 euros). At the moment, AMI can only be purchased without financing. But the Gallic brand promises to offer solutions very soon ranging from car sharing, through Free2Move, to purchasing through financing, passing through long-term leasing.

The AMI has a range of 75 kilometers and is powered by a 5.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, which can be recharged in three hours in a regular 220-volt electrical outlet. The 6 kW motor makes it possible to reach a maximum speed of 45 km / h.
