ACL is a company from Famalicão in the field of civil construction materials, which has entered into what it hopes will be an excellent investment, namely the development of a concrete base for the installation of photovoltaic solar panels.
This structure was developed in partnership with EcoInside – solutions for environmental efficiency and sustainability (Gaia), which specializes in clean energies, and Presdouro Pré-Esforçados Beira Douro.
Characteristics of the concrete base for solar panels
This concrete base allows photovoltaic solar panels to be installed on rooftops and on the ground.
Each ceiling concrete plinth weighs approximately 65 kg, while the floor concrete plinth weighs approximately 615 kg. These come in six inclination angles, thus improving solar energy efficiency in harnessing sunlight.
Dennis Da Silva, CEO of ACL, explains this in a statement: “The structure of the land offers a huge advantage, as it allows you to set the tilt angles in six different positions, ranging from 5 to 30 degrees. This allows for a better use of solar energy according to the shape of the land.”
These concrete bases require no excavation equipment or metal tools for installation. They are produced in the factory and transported to the installation site where they can be easily placed.
Denis da Silva also highlights some of the advantages of his system: It is a practical and economical system. No need to install with screws. Concrete ACL bases for solar panels are the perfect solution. It is resistant, perfect weight, easy to use and durable, without oxidation and has a useful life of more than 50 years.
This product has been developed in the future, to make the most of green energy production projects, based on resistance to chemical and weather factors.
