About three restaurants are expected to serve Best Dinner from August 18th to 27th.

Straight from the sea to the plate.

The Festas de Corroios is one of the biggest events that the municipality of Seixal receives, but not because it already has this designation it cannot invent and show new concepts and ideas that will attract more visitors. In this sense, the parish of Kouroyos will host, for the first time in the history of these festivals, a seafood festival, between 18 and 27 August.

Spattera, shrimp, oysters and other types of shellfish is what you can find at Corroios festivities, but only at dinner time, as the establishments that will serve only these dishes will operate from 9 pm to 1 am.

Hugo Constantino, head of the Koroyos Parish Council, explained to NiS that “there will be a lot on offer” and that the festival, which opens this year, intends to offer a “family concept,” where families can then hold concerts on the main stage.

“This premiere is a sign that entrepreneurs are innovating and diversifying products, and they know a little bit about the gastronomy of our country, where seafood is the feature. This new festival, which takes place in the Urban Park of Quinta de Marialva, certainly demonstrates the reflection of the openness of the parish council Corroios on the new opportunities and initiatives within what is already well,” he added.

The restaurants participating in this initiative have not yet closed, but it is expected that there will be three establishments dedicated to making seafood and investing in this world of flavors. The Festas de Corroios are a huge success in the municipality and around one million people are expected to attend the event.
