Morgan Whalen, 30, was arrested early Monday morning local time after throwing a chair off a roof Sunday evening.
according to USA Today The country singer is said to have thrown the chair down six floors without any apparent motive.
He was arrested Monday morning and charged with three counts of disorderly conduct and irresponsible conduct, Nashville police told the newspaper.
Police are said to have been standing outside the Chief's Bar, which is located in the building, when they suddenly saw a chair fall out of the air and land directly in front of them.
Bar staff are said to have explained that it was the famous artist who threw the chair, and surveillance camera footage is said to have shown this to be true.
Wallen has now been released on bail of around NOK 160,000.
It is said that no one was injured in the accident.

Wallen's attorney, Eric Robinson, confirms to USA Today that he “is aware of the arrest” and that Wallen is cooperating with police.
The 30-year-old himself has yet to make a statement. He is currently active on the “One Night At A Time 2024” tour.
The country artist has also had rough weather before. In 2021, he apologized after a racism scandal, in which a neighbor filmed him shouting the N-word.
The incident subsequently resulted in Wallen being banned for one year from participating in the Country Music Awards. The following year he was back in the heat again and won the award.
Last November, he won a total of 11 awards during the Billboard Music Awards.
