“Crying in pain.” Felipe Nascimento lost her job because she was sick

hFilipa Nascimento has been “looking forward to yesterday” for a month now, and that was the day she would audition for a highly coveted career opportunity. However, life turned around again and nothing went as planned.

“I had a bad month, lost my cousin/sister, had a sick daughter, etc… I never thought that in one month of my life so much bad things could happen. However, I needed to gain strength to prepare myself for yesterday. I had an exam that was very important to me. I have these strengths, because of the great desire I had to pass the test and because I have a husband by my side who comforts me whenever possible to dedicate myself to the work I had to do,” she began telling the actress, who had recently seen her cousin die of injuries caused by domestic violence .

Three days before the audition, she started to feel ill, but she still hoped that she would be able to attend. “but The day before it got so bad I couldn’t even get out of bed without breaking down and crying in pain. A lot of sweat, a lot of headaches, a lot of logistics of memorizing such a complicated script until you get really sick the day before and not be able to attend…

Filipa explains that she just wanted to tell her story to “de-stress”, admitting that she is “really sad” and “frustrated and disappointed”.

“I did miss out on some professional opportunities, but always for other reasons, never for something that made me powerless. They say things always happen for a reason, so I’ll wait to see what that is,” she added, hoping to continue drawing lessons from everything that’s happened to her lately.
