Since July 6, there has been a rat in the water park at the Strawberry Hotel Quality Hotel The Reef in Frederikshavn in northern Denmark. It doesn't look like guests will be able to jump in the water anytime soon.

Dagbladet previously wrote about the holiday-crushing rat over a week ago.

Hotel manager Marianne Bredevang told local media that the closure had been extended until July 29. They must have had great faith that they could catch the rat, and called in pest controllers to deal with it. However, the rat managed to hide in the many nooks and crannies of the water park.

The director has previously apologized to guests in local media.

– Of course, it is very unfortunate for all visiting guests that the water park is closed. She added: We hope that we can open the water park again as soon as possible North Jutland.

Next week, the hotel will see around 300 guests a day in connection with the Dana Cup football tournament, which is being held in the nearby town of Jørring. There were 786 Norwegian teams there last year, he wrote. We will see you.

However, they will have to do without swimming in the water park.
