Hey Casa Feliz welcomed Waldemar Cunha on Friday to share his story. The 80-year-old takes care of his daughter, María João Blanco, who has been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and his granddaughter.
During the conversation with Waldemar Cunha, Diana Chavez asked how old the guest was, and when he said he was 80 years old, the presenter could not hold back her tears.
The family is struggling to get an electric wheelchair for Maria João and this was the main reason for their attendance at the SIC morning programme.
