“M“Many people are not fully aware of the consequences of drying clothes indoors,” says Greg Wilson, founder and CEO of Quotezone, highlighting that while it may seem like a good idea, it can pose a “major health risk.”

Quoted from the Daily Express, Wilson explains that hanging wet clothes inside your home releases moisture into the air and creates a perfect breeding ground for mold. As Greg Wilson explains, exposure to mold can lead to allergic reactions, skin rashes, asthma attacks, weight loss, and even lead to hospitalization in severe cases.

On days when the rain doesn't stop and you have to dry your clothes indoors, “you should make sure the environment is well ventilated.” According to the expert, “A dehumidifier can help reduce humidity levels and promote air circulation.”
