Ed Sheeran, 30, first became a father in August of last year. Now, in an interview with New Music Daily on Apple Music 1, the singer has spoken candidly about fatherhood and how his life has changed since the birth of Lyra Antarctica.
“Everyone was like, ‘This is the best thing that will happen to you. And there’s a certain expectation. And I think the best thing that came out of it was… well, two things. The relationship I had with my parents has completely changed. “It used to be great before,” said the musician, who is married to Sherry Seaborn, but now there seems to be Eternal gratitude and respect, I know what they’ve been through.”
“The other thing is I see people and say, ‘Oh my God, this guy is the best dad in the world, but he started out like me, he doesn’t know anything. “I’m learning day by day. So I think it’s great.”
In the same interview, Ed Sheeran revealed that his habits have also changed.
He said, “My lifestyle has completely changed. Instead of going to bed at 6 a.m., I wake up at 6 a.m. and well, before that. I started exercising.” “I did everything too much, too much. I would go to a restaurant and say, ‘Oh, I love what this looks like and I’m going to eat it all.'” I liked to drink everything in sight and everything else.” He remembers.
The artist concluded, “When Sherry was six months pregnant, I was like ‘Your waters can break at any time and I will stop the transgressions to just be available and be the husband I intend to be.'”
