Eriksen: The situation is ‘stable’ in hospital

The Danish Football Association has updated the condition of Christian Eriksen, who suffered a heart attack on Saturday during the match against Finland.

According to the information provided, the Danish midfielder remains “stable” and is subject to a series of complementary tests, so that it can be understood what happened, while his colleagues received psychological support.

The Danish Federation also thanked all the letters it had received from other federations and called for more to be sent, all of which would reach Christian Eriksen and his family.

The Danish Federation’s full statement:

This morning we spoke with Christian Eriksen, who sent compliments to his teammates. He is stable and still in hospital for tests.

The team and crew of the national team have received psychological support and will continue to receive it after yesterday’s incident.

We want to thank everyone for the messages from the fans, the players, the royal family in Denmark, England, federations, etc.

Please send your letters to the Danish Federation, and we will make sure they reach Christian and his family afterwards.
