In 2020 I had appendicitis, and when they removed it from me, it became complicated, which led to infection in my body and cardiorespiratory arrest (sepsis with focus on the abdomen and dehiscence) which made me not eat until today (I have a gastrostomy).

A few months ago, I experienced a rapid deterioration in my neurological condition and developed a tumor in the cervical spine, which my mother became suspicious of and took me to the doctor on her own.

Today I was hospitalized for several months at Hospital da Santa Casa de Misericordia in Belo Horizonte, in order to investigate this mass (they showed a possible enlarged lesion of sarcomatous lineage) as I await biopsy to determine treatment.

In addition, I have several episodes of dyspnea and desaturation, which are no longer resolved by nasal oxygen catheterization. My doctor diagnosed me with apnea of ​​central origin, possibly associated with brain damage of various origins. She said that to keep me breathing, I need a machine called a BIPAP with a face mask every day. However, this equipment costs about 30,000 riyals and neither my mother nor my family can afford it. In addition, SUS also could not provide the equipment.

In this sense, my mom and I decided to do this crowdfunding, so that I could survive and go home to be with my family.
