On November 24, the National Institute of Veterinary Research – INIAV, in Oeiras, celebrates the National Day of Scientific Culture by visiting the exhibition “Engineering Miguel Mota – A Man Ahead of His Time”, at three different times: 11 am, 2 pm and 3 pm.
This exhibition, supported by the Municipality of Oeiras, highlights the life and contributions made by scientist Miguel Mota to Portuguese science.
Miguel Mota (1922-2016) was a distinguished researcher and scientist in Oeiras, known for his theory of cell division, a discovery he made in the 1950s but which was not validated until 30 years later by the international scientific community.
In addition to his professional scientific activity and teaching, Miguel Mota was a great fan of science.
