Experienced climber Rob Brown, 33, died in an accident en route to Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. The mountain is 1,344 meters above sea level near the west coast of Scotland.
Many English media, among others BBCHe mentioned the accident.
His relatives said in a statement that Brown’s death “could not have been prevented”. He died “quickly and painlessly”.

Rob Brown was an experienced climber who ran his own tour company. A week earlier, on July 29, he was supposed to enjoy a day off with a climbing trip in Ben Nevis.
Brown was from the town of Fort William near Ben Nevis, in the western Scottish Highlands.

“On Friday, July 29, 2022, we lost Rob in a climbing accident on the north side of Ben Nevis,” his relatives wrote in a Facebook statement.

Close relatives confirm that they are in great sadness and shock after the accident.
“It was a beautiful day and he looked forward to enjoying it in the mountains, as he always loved to do in his spare time. Anyone who knows Rob knows he is experienced, calm, confident and doesn’t take unnecessary risks. Friday was no exception. We left a great day out He was happy and satisfied with his life.”
The family would like to thank the members of the Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team, who pulled him off the mountain.
Relatives invite everyone who knew Rob Brown to join him in a celebration in the coming weeks.
