Extension of applications for technical residency in the management of innovation environments

Applications for selection of scholarship holders for the Specialization Course in Environmental Management Enhancing Innovation – GAPI have been extended until April 11th. There are 37 places available for residents in the program, which is the result of a joint work between the State Department of Finance (Sefa) and the Public Authority for the Supervision of Science, Technology and Higher Education (Seti), through the Parana State Technology Parks System (Separtek). Registration is free and can be done through the program’s website.

The choice expands fellows’ opportunity to enter the technical residency. In addition to the remaining 18 vacancies from the old general notice, the new general notice provides for 19 other vacancies. In total there will be 45 residents. Eight vacancies have already been filled.

To apply, candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s course for a maximum period of three years, in one of the eight areas covered by the general notice: management, economics, accounting, law, information technology, social communication, production engineering, architecture, civil engineering and public administration.

In addition to the specialization course being free, technical residents receive transportation assistance and a monthly scholarship, in the amount of R$2,375.00, in accordance with the 25% adjustment authorized by the state government for all scholarships awarded to researchers, professors, students and newly graduated professionals working in the field of science, technology, and education higher in the state.

Says the administrative coordinator of the program at Unicentro, Professor Sandra Mara of Andrade.

“The course and residency will also enable professionals to use strategic tools and methods in designing innovation processes, making a positive impact on the competitiveness of companies and on the lives of residents,” she says.
