Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has huge gameplay in State of Play

Surprising fans, Sony revealed that on Tuesday (6) we will have a new state of play: however, instead of bringing a flood of first-party or partner games, it will be dedicated only to Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (which, even for a moment, is exclusive For PS5).

As you can imagine, given its proximity to release, the game has gained many generous plot and gameplay details, with nearly 20 minutes packed full of new combat, exploration, and open-world features.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is getting more fun gameplay

If you're excited to check out the “Into the Unknown” sequence of events and see what changes this time around, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has already started showing details about Zack, the return of Don Corneo, and parts of the ending of the plot, with Sephiroth on the hunt for the Black Materia.

In the trailer, we also see several classic mini-games, such as Shinra's parade, interaction with Junon the dolphin, Costa del Sol party interaction, and much more. Furthermore, interesting details of the story have been revealed, but we'll keep the explanation to avoid spoilers.

Another interesting novelty was the reveal of how the open world of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will work, with different areas of Gaia to explore freely, with different types of Chocobo (same as the original) and even Tiny Bronco, a team plane.
