Everything could have been so beautiful: Finance Minister Christian Lindner and journalist Franca Lehfeldt wanted to exchange vows at a romantic setting in Tuscany. Now the couple needs to get in touch with Germany.

It should be the happiest day of your life. Now the wedding plans of Union Finance Minister Christian Lindner and political journalist Franka Lehfeld are idle. As “Bunte” reveals, the dream couple of German politics wanted to give their guests an unforgettable evening in a romantic country garden in Italy in July. In a small church about 20 miles[20 km]northeast of Luke, the two were to walk in front of the altar.

The Italian countryside in Tuscany is famous for weddings. It is especially characterized by numerous olive trees, pines and vines, and the city of Luke offers a very special setting with its large squares, traditional churches and medieval towers.

But now the wedding can not go as planned – at least not in Italy. Instead, we celebrate on the sill. “Bunte” cites security reasons for this. As a member of the federal government, Christian Lindner needs special personal protection, and the Federal Criminal Police Office in Tuscany cannot guarantee him or his guests.

Love plan for the Greeks

Lindner and Lehfeld are a couple from 2018 onwards. According to the RTL, they were engaged to friends and family on Lehfeldt’s 32nd birthday in mid – September. In the Greek scene in Berlin the “Casampalis” is said to have been an intimate kiss at midnight, and Lindner asked questions after the private talk. Franca Lehfeldt’s parents, her best friend and Heiner Bremer were able to attend the special moment.

Christian Lindner is already married to Dr. Rosenfeld, who is now the editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper “Die Weld”. In 2020 he divorced her. This is Franca Lehfeldt’s first marriage.
