Found a dead mouse in the food

A terrifying discovery in a curry dish has caused the internet to boil over the past few days.

A rat was found in a restaurant in Ludhiana, India, floating in a pot of fragrant curry.

The soup, which was originally supposed to be a delicious chicken soup, gave everyone around the dinner table jaw drops.

The customer behind the order took action in the wake of the unpleasant surprise Twitter with video evidence.

In the disturbing clip, the large rodent can clearly be seen, tail intact, circling in the bowl.

“This restaurant serves rats in what is supposed to be a chicken curry (…) a very poor standard in this cuisine. Beware”warns the customer in the tweet.

A longer version of the video has been posted to Facebook. There you can hear the customer arguing with the restaurateur about the terrible find.

According to Zee News, the restaurant owner says the customer in question is “trying to discredit them”, and that they “never serve rats”.

– It happened several times

Although the restaurant stands its ground, other customers have taken to the internet to report similar episodes:

Unfortunately, this is not new. The owner is lying so it is on him. The restaurant has a particularly unhygienic kitchen, in which many rats have been observed, says a man named Maninder Giuliani.

He says a dead rat with its tail intact was served in the restaurant on another occasion – this time in a dish of lamb.

In the past 24 hours, the paper writes, comment fields have taken over India News. Many were shocked by the “pathological discovery”, and several local health authorities called for the restaurant to be closed immediately.

According to the newspaper, the restaurant does not want to comment on the incident other than that they believe the rat accusations are “sheer lies”.
