“These foods are full of unhealthy fats, sugars and empty calories, making them the main culprits of weight gain,” says Bianca Beldini.
2- Sugary drinks
“They are the main contributors to waistline expansion. They have a lot of added sugar and no nutritional value, which leads to more belly fat.”
3- Alcohol
“It makes it harder for the body to metabolize fat properly, which increases the amount of fat stored in the abdominal area,” explains Lisa Richards.
4- Vegetable oils
“It can be inflammatory due to an imbalance between omega-6 and omega-3.”
