But the truth is, the data is not encouraging. The latest report from Brussels shows that, after taxes, the average price of 95 petrol in Portugal is the fifth most expensive in the entire European Union.
Diesel already occupies the tenth place among the countries of the community area. The same data shows that taxes are the biggest factor in fuel prices in Portugal.
