Fuel prices continue to maintain an upward trend.
Gasoline and diesel prices will rise again this week after exceeding 98 petrol with extra €2 per liter on Friday at some gas stations.
After all, simple gasoline should rise by 1.5 cents per liter and diesel should increase by 1 cent per liter.
According to data from the Directorate General of Energy and Geology (DGEG), the average price of simple diesel is 1.65 euros per liter, and the average price of simple 95 gasoline is 1.807 euros per liter. The average price of added gasoline was 98 1933 euros per liter.
It must be remembered that the evolution of costs depends, however, on each filling station, the brand and the region in which it is located.
But the truth is, the data is not encouraging. The latest report from Brussels shows that after taxes, the average price of 95 petrol in Portugal is the fifth most expensive in the entire European Union.
Diesel already occupies the tenth place among the countries of the community area. The same data shows that taxes are the biggest factor in fuel prices in Portugal.
