Google claims to have significantly improved Chrome’s performance

Google is constantly improving Chrome, and recent Chrome updates seem to prove just that. With each new version, Chrome receives many new features, but even more “background” improvements, which end up not being seen by users, but certainly felt.

With Chrome 85 released in the past, Google introduced a new feature in it that promised performance improvements. And now the company Came to leave more details About the status of this implementation.

In a recent post on the Chrome development blog, the company revealed that Google Chrome is now 25% faster than previous versions.

According to the company, the latest versions of Chrome have functionality that optimizes system resources, so that windows that are visible to users have greater priority in processing tasks and using resources such as processor and RAM.

With this, the company has been able to make windows in the background – not visible – unnecessarily wasting resources, while also increasing the performance of what the user is actually checking.

The company assures that this system leads not only to improved performance, but also reduced browser crashes, faster loading of content and even less than 3.1% of graphics memory consumption.

All of these improvements have obviously been analyzed over a long period of time, but they are now revealed as a way to demonstrate the improvement made in the browser. It also comes at an important period, especially now that Microsoft has greatly improved Edge.
