Google Docs has voice typing improvements

It’s been a few years since Google Docs allowed users to use voice typing features, which allow you to type in documents using only direct voice commands—something that can come in handy, for example, for people who struggle with typing with a keyboard.

The function has not gained much popularity by the company, but it has recently confirmed that it will launch some improvements to it. According to a letter published in Google Workspace blogUsers will soon be able to see improvements in the phonetic typing system, with better pattern recognition and fewer typing errors.

It is not known exactly what Google hopes to implement, and the post about this novelty seems to be very far from what will really change. However, it appears to be an improvement focused on allowing the system to be able to capture user commands more effectively.

At the same time, the company has also confirmed that it is launching a new feature that allows users to see “unprinted” document content, such as line and paragraph breaks. These items can help users edit and format their documents better.
