GREECE – Tourists have disappeared in a holiday paradise

The Danes write that two tourists disappeared during a holiday in Greece my house.

A 59-year-old American and a 79-year-old Dutch man are now missing.

They both write that they went for a walk several days ago, and never returned again CNN.

This news comes a few days after British TV doctor Michael Mosley was found dead.

He also disappeared during a walk last week, and was found dead four days later in an inaccessible area on the Greek island of Symi.

Greece is currently affected by an early heat wave. Temperatures were measured above 42 degrees Celsius in several places.

According to Mayor Eleftherios Papakaloudoka, a Greek television crew that was filming the search operation found Mosley's body.

While reviewing the photographic material, the body of the TV file was suddenly discovered in the photographs.

The American who is now missing never returned from a trip on Amorgos Island on Tuesday.

The Dutch man has been missing on the island of Samos since Sunday.

There is great concern because Greece is currently affected by very high temperatures.

Police, firefighters and volunteers participated in the search operations, a Greek police spokeswoman tells CNN.

Dimitris Katatzis leads the rescue team on Samos. He says tourists often don't realize the dangers when they leave safe roads and get lost.

– Yesterday we saw a couple walking on a road in 41 degrees temperature, without wearing hats. It defies all logic, Katatzis says.
