Happiness Day: The happiest songs according to science – Alpha FM

On Wednesday, March 20, the world celebrates the International Day of Happiness. This date was chosen by the United Nations to discuss a very important topic that interests everyone. However, the concept of well-being and joy can be relative and vary from person to person. What might make one person high might upset another person. However, it is difficult to find a person who does not feel happy when listening to the music he loves. Above all, it is a universal feeling.

For this reason, Dutch neuroscientist Jacob Golig calculated an equation that determines the happiest songs in history. What he discovered during his research is that most happy songs have a tempo between 140 and 150 beats per minute, and the lyrics talk about overcoming events and being euphoric.

Taking these criteria into consideration, Jacob chose 10 songs that could be considered “the happiest in history.” Moreover, taking advantage of the approaching day of happiness, we remind you of these choices.
