Here is the first real photo of the first smartphone with a 200MP camera

At the end of 2021, Samsung unveiled its HP1 sensor with an amazing 200MP resolution. However, it will not be South Korea that launches the first smartphone with this sensor, but rather Motorola.

In fact, the first device with a 200MP image sensor will be the Motorola Frontier. From this particular product the first real image comes to us, courtesy of a user of the Chinese social network Weibo.

The joint photo doesn’t reveal the entirety of the upcoming Motorola Frontier, but only the rear camera module. But herein lies one of the most important details of the smartphone: its main lens with a resolution of 200 megapixels.

It was confirmed, by the inscription on the unit of this smartphone, that it will have an HP sensor with a resolution of 200 megapixels. This device will have a focal aperture of f / 2.2 and will have optical image stabilization.

The Motorola Frontier imaging unit will have a design similar to modern OnePlus gear. At the top we have a large 200 MP sensor, with two smaller lenses at the bottom.

He also notes that the Motorola Frontier will have a glossy back, with glass possibly being the dominant building material. On the right side will be the power button and volume selectors.

The Motorola Frontier should hit the market with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus processor, 8 or 12 GB of RAM, and 128 or 255 GB of internal memory. It will have a 6.67-inch pOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate.

It is also expected to have a 4,500mAh battery that takes advantage of 125W fast charging by wire. Its wireless charging can be up to 50W using its own charger.

Nothing is official yet, but the Motorola Frontier presentation may take place in July. Until then, more should be revealed about the brand’s most ambitious top of the range in 2022.
