Horta Osorio has joined the management of José de Melo Empresas

Antonio Horta Osorio, as a non-executive, said the board of directors of José de Mello, the company controlling the José de Mello Group, said in a statement.

Antonio Horta Osorio started his career at Citibank Portugal in 1987, after which he joined Goldman Sachs. Since 1993, he has gained international experience in leading financial institutions in Portugal, Brazil, UK and Switzerland, working for Santander, Lloyds and Credit Suisse.

He currently holds non-executive roles on the boards of Bial, Impresa and Fundação Champalimaud.

Jose de Mello adds that with this change, the Board of Directors now consists of Vasco de Mello (Chairman), Pedro de Mello and Salvador de Mello (Vice-Chairs), Antonio Orta Osorio, Gonzalo de Mello, Isabel Junet, Joao Azevedo Coutinho, João de Mello , Luis Brito de Joyce, Maria Amelia de Mello Blake, Pablo Forero, Pedro Rocha e Mello, Raul Galampa de Oliveira, Rui Deniz.

The Executive Committee of José de Mello maintains the following composition: Salvador de Mello (Chairman), João Azevedo Coutinho, João de Mello, Luis Brito de Gois, Pedro Rocha e Mello and Rui Dínez.
