How to use Dynamic Island of iPhones 14 Pro / 14 Pro Max in practice

One of the biggest highlights of iPhone 14 Pro And 14 Pro Max arrival was dynamic island (Dynamic Island). Through it, you can follow the activities of your apps right there, on top of these smartphones.

• broadens: If you want to expand the displayed activity for more detail, tap and hold your finger over the island or slide your finger from the center to the right or left side.
• for a duration: When you want to collapse the contents of the dynamic island, i.e. make it smaller, just slide your finger from the right or left side towards the center of the component.
• switch: If you’re watching multiple activities on the Dynamic Island (like playing music and a timer), it’s very easy to switch between them: just swipe your finger to one side.

Apart from that, whenever something is on the Dynamic Island, you can either tap on it once to be taken directly to the app, or tap and hold on the Island to open the respective app’s built-in controls there.
