Hyundai Ioniq 5 wins World Car of the Year 2022

Hyundai IONIQ 5 was the biggest winner of the prestigious car World Car Awards 2022It was named World Car of the Year, World’s Best Electric Car and World Car Design of the Year. The results were revealed at a ceremony held at the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS).

The 100% electric Hyundai won the three categories it was nominated for.

The international jury, made up of 102 journalists from the automotive sector, from 33 countries around the world, He got the innovative crossover It is the first new era of Hyundai EVs, based on the advanced 100% electric E-GMP platform.
This electrical innovator has already won several international awards.  It was the winner in the three categories in which it was nominated, in a batch of 27 competing models launched in 2021.
IONIQ 5 is the first model from Hyundai's IONIQ sub-brand exclusively dedicated to electric vehicles.  The E-GMP platform architecture delivers 800V power, ultra-fast charging from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes, and an extremely spacious interior.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5, on a single charge, has a range of 686 km in urban driving and a combined range of 481 km, according to the course (WLTP).  It integrates Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, connectivity and driver assistance systems to provide the best experience.
