Entrepreneurs looking for support to launch a new company in the municipalities of Sines and Santiago do Cacem can now propose their business idea on the Now program. Applications are open until April 30.targeting all residents of the two municipalities who wish to develop a commercial project or promote the creation of their own jobs.
The second edition of this entrepreneurship program – promoted by EDP Produção in partnership with Sines Tecnopolo – follows the success of the first edition, which led to the creation of nine local businesses and the creation of 21 potential jobs last year. Among these selected projects, a sustainable fashion company that already exports to many European countries stands out. Other projects include the production of handmade soaps or business ideas linked to local culture.
Through this initiative, EDP intends to promote and enhance an ecosystem conducive to the development of business projects and the creation of job opportunities, including procedures for training, consulting, specialized technical support and business incubation.
