Iranian Embassy in Oslo: – Violent demonstration

Many arrested

Police said 30-40 people were arrested and detained.

According to the Dagbladet reporter at the scene, there were up to a hundred people gathered at the embassy, ​​and the police were ready with tear gas.

The demonstrators are demanding responses from Norway and demand the closure of Iran’s embassy.

– We ask you to get away. Let’s organize this peaceful demonstration. We want freedom and democracy, these are basic rights. We are here to demonstrate against the Iranian regime that has attacked schools and innocent children, says a protester outside the embassy.

The group of Iranian Political Prisoners for a Free Iran (IPFFI) announced a demonstration at the embassy starting at 5 pm on Thursday.

Kamal Khahnoud, a representative of the Organization of Iranian Political Prisoners for a Free Iran (IPFFI), told Dagbladet shortly before 3 pm that he was not aware of the unannounced demonstration outside the embassy.
