Löwengrip herself has been open about her vote for the Moderates, a conservative liberal political party. And after the election, she wrote the following on her Instagram story post:

“How can you go in and ‘hate’ someone because you vote differently? I will never in my life try to punish people or start a witch hunt,” she wrote, while also asking her followers if they’ve experienced something similar.

A short time later, she also published a supplemental post, explaining in more detail what she really thinks:

“I am so tired of voting red in solidarity and more consideration and love. More intellectual. If you vote blue, you are selfish, cold, racist and want to create divisions in society,” she wrote and continued:

Victims are bigger than you

The post generated massive engagement, and on Thursday morning it had nearly 15,000 likes and more than 3,500 comments.

Actor Evin Ahmad is among those who are not on the same wavelength as Löwengrip. Politically, it is on the other side.

She writes that it is sad to hear that she or others have been threatened for their point of view, and that she should not have gone through with this. However, she adds that she knows what Löwengrip feels, and that she herself is afraid to express her political view.

“That is why I rarely dare to express that I vote red or that I am anti-racist because I am usually called a whore, or a whore, or an Arab pussy, etc. I do it here. Only because I have an opinion in defending those who do not enjoy With distinction, like you and me.”

She says that as a result of Löwengrip’s statement, the actor tried to contact her, so that they could talk about disagreements together.

“I really hope you and I talk about this so you understand that there are bigger victims than you, me and your followers in our community and that this is not an exclusive story for you and your friends who voted blue.”
