Israel refuses to discuss ceasefire – NRK Urix – Foreign News and Documentaries

– There will be no ceasefire in the north, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said on X.

This comes despite strong calls to calm the fighting and avoid a ground invasion of southern Lebanon.

Shortly afterwards, news came that 14 people were killed when Israel attacked a school in the Gaza Strip.

The school, located in the Jabalia refugee camp, was used as a Hamas command center, the Israeli military claims.

The Palestinian Authority in Gaza claims the school was being used as a shelter.

At least 39 people have been killed in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, NTB reported, citing health authorities in the area.
