With a view to advancing the application of the vaccine booster dose to priority groups, the Joinville Department of Health will conduct a joint effort this weekend (25 and 26/9), from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Toby Immunization Center, in the Boa Vista neighborhood.
The vaccine application will respect the order of access, and there is no need to schedule a booster dose.
At this time, two specific priority groups that completed immunization (with a second dose or a single dose) in a predetermined period of time are included: the elderly, aged 70 years or older, who completed the vaccination before 25 March; and immunocompromised persons, of any age, and who completed the vaccination before August 30.
To receive a vaccination agent, it is necessary to present an identity document with a photo and a vaccination card. Immunocompromised people also need to provide a medical certificate.
