Kaspersky has been placed on the list of serious security threats in the United States

There is a general feeling that much of what Russian companies offer could be compromised. The country changed its rules and laws to adapt to the sanctions applied globally.

One of the latest measures came from the United States, which put the well-known security software company Kaspersky on a no one wants to be list. They began to view the antivirus creator as a serious security threat to the country.

This is the well-known list It has also been talked about and used to pressure it in recent years.  This is where many of the companies linked to China have been placed, preventing access to much of the technology especially the US market. 
The latest company to be added to this FCC list was Russia's Kaspersky, which has been designated an "unacceptable risk to the security of the United States."  This is the first company from this country to appear on this list, which is almost entirely barred from operating in the United States.

By including it on this list, Kaspersky is in a very uncomfortable position with US companies and other entities.  They can no longer use subsidies and other assistance to purchase this security program.
This isn't the first time the company has faced security issues in the United States.  In 2017, it was used so that the Russian government could steal documents from the National Security Agency, something that has always been denied.  However, they were banned from US government entities.

The situation that comes from the conflict between Russia and Ukraine
Of course, Kaspersky already react For this new position of the US government.  They claim that the FCC's decision was made too quickly and based on political assumptions related to the conflict in Ukraine.  The company is willing to work with the US government to address identified concerns.
