The Public Relations Officer of Aduana Stars Evans Oppong aka “Maestro” has lauded new coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi after introducing his high intensity and high pressing football following his arrival at Dormaa.

Aduana Stars mutually parted ways with Yusif Abubakar last week as the club eyes new direction in their quest to make impact in the ongoing CAF Confederations cup.

The fire boys are yet to win a game in the confederations cup, losing and drawing one each.

But Evans Oppong in an interview is of the view that his side will come out victorious with regards to the tactical approach of the Japanese.

“I can tell you that the coach is gradually winning the confidence of the players whereas the players wants to justify why they should be selected for this particular game. There has been a little bit of competition between the players” he said.

“Though there is a new coach at our folds but with what I have seen we will all hear good news on Wednesday” he added.

Evans Opppong indicated they were owing the players for three months but says that the life patron of the team Nana Agyemang Badu on Friday paid two months of the arrears ahead of their encounter with AS Vita Club.

According to him the Dormaa based club is currently owing their squad with a monthly salary but claims they are working on it clear all the arrears.

He added that they are expecting money from CAF which about $275,000 which could reduce the economic hardship on the team.

Aduana Stars faces Congolese side AS Vita Club in the CAF Confederations cup on Wednesday at the Nana Agyemang Badu Stadium in Dormaa.
