This Sunday, May 1, another commitment ceremony for SIC’s “Married at First Sight” program was broadcast. Bruno surprised everyone and everything by assuming he wanted to give up the format.
Bruno was tired of other spouses’ disagreements and feared that it might negatively affect his marriage to Ruth. The Portuguese couple conquered because of their good relationship.
Despite saying she didn’t want to continue with the program, Ruth said she wanted to stay, and in that sense, the fiancé reconsidered and stayed another week.
After the ceremony, Ruth confronted her husband: “Will you leave without me?”. Then Bruno replied: “No. I thought you’d get fired too. I said first ‘I’m sick of this, I’m going out.’ Those were the last words I heard from you. I thought in my head ‘She’s going out, I’m going out, we’re both going out’.”
After this conversation, Bruno also made it clear that he’s going to give up because he’s tired too “Other couples are not well”: “If there is too much interaction between all of us, then what we are building here can certainly be destroyed.”
Now alone for the cameras, Ruth considers Bruno “He uses that excuse to say they’re going to ruin our relationship.”
