Not even a star from Angelina Jolie was given exceptional treatment by Marvel.
Despite being accustomed to dominating projects since becoming a star and taking an Oscar for “Vida Interrompida” more than 20 years ago, the ones in which she was a producer and director, the actress revealed that she needs to have “blind confidence.” “To join the cinematic universe because they wouldn’t let her read the script for ‘Eternals (Eternals)’ before signing the contract.
Although Thena, the leader of the “Eternals” on Earth, Angeline Jolie ensures that no actor is allowed to read the script of the Marvel movie before agreeing to join the project due to the usual secrecy in the studio.
“It was a lot of fun, but I did it because the ‘Eternals’ family is going to be so diverse and inclusive. When you accept the Marvel movie, you don’t see the script, so you have to blindly trust yourself,” he said in a Thursday morning interview on British TV.
He added, “We look and feel different from a bunch of superheroes, but my character struggles with mental health. We are the most human. We represent the world we live in, we are a global family.”
Angelina Jolie also said that the possibility of passing to the other side of the cameras after the completion of the film was placed on the table.
She admitted, “They asked me if I’d accept to make a Marvel movie and I said yes, but I don’t know if I’d be very good at it. But it brings a smile to my face.”
