Met: – A disappointing message for the Norwegians

Met: – A disappointing message for the Norwegians

It is rare for heat records to be identified as the common denominator between Spain and Finnmark.

On Thursday, April 27, measurements from both places entered the history books.

However, Spain is twice as hot as Finnmark with a measurement of 38.7 degrees at Corboda Airport – the hottest April on record. This was reported by the British Met Institute, MIT.

In Nuvsvåg in Finnmark, the thermometer showed 16.3 degrees and with it entered the history books as the second warmest day early in the year in Finnmark, according to iFinnmark.

Meteorologist on duty Dina Stabile says the hot weather in Spain is likely to continue for a while, and many holiday favorites will enjoy their hottest temperatures over the weekend.

– Saturday seems to be the hottest day in several places in southern Spain, Stabile tells Dagbladet.

In both holiday favorites Malaga and Alicante, the temperature is likely to be above 30 degrees on Saturday.

On the other hand, the message for Norwegians is one of a depressing kind – unless, of course, they’re in Spain.

– Are the Norwegians expecting some Spanish heat here?

– No, it doesn’t look like we’re going to get that much heat in here, unfortunately.

Also in the north of the country, where the weather was mild today, temperatures will now drop.

– It may have been cold today in all parts of the country, except in the north, but the temperatures there will now be lower, says the meteorologist.
