Microsoft's campaigns are known to try to convince Windows users to choose its services and applications. One of the main targets of these actions is the Google Chrome browser, given its importance. That browser is now at the center of a new measure, which wants everyone to end up using Edge and not Chrome.

There are several measures that Microsoft has already taken to ensure that Edge is the default browser on Windows.  The company has already changed the settings to make them more complex and impossible to change, as well as launching campaigns to try to convince users to switch from Chrome to its suggestion.
The software giant is now back on the attack and has a new campaign underway to seek change in this area.  The new popups are being offered to those who use Chrome on Windows and want them to simply ditch Google's browser and embrace the suggestion that comes from Windows.
Interestingly, something illogical and very common is popping up in this new pop-up from Microsoft.  As some users have described, this is very similar to what some malware uses to deliver ads to users, in an attempt to trick them.
Microsoft has already reacted to this news and user comments about its arrival.  He revealed that this notification is intended to alert people to Edge features and that users can simply decline its display and even change browsers.
Anyone who accepts this new option offered by the pop-up ends up seeing the settings changed and Edge quickly becomes the default browser.  As expected, users are not happy with this action taken by Microsoft and they have already shown it. 
Of course, everyone knows that this is not Microsoft's first attempt to promote Edge.  Their actions were very diverse and even very clever.  One of the latest such browsers led to importing Chrome tabs without users' permission.
