Microsoft introduces Teams Essentials, a solution focused on small businesses

a Microsoft This Wednesday (30th) announced general availability Team Basics, the first show of difference Designed specifically for small and medium businesses.

Just like the teams offered via plans Microsoft 365 Business Basic where Microsoft 365 Business StandardTeams Essentials has solutions for professional meetings, collaboration, and productivity. Its offer, however, brings a reduced cost, focusing on small and medium businesses. In Brazil, the offer is R $ 22.90 per user / month.

“We know how difficult the last 20 months have been for small businesses. They have had to show extreme flexibility to adapt, often with limited access to tools and technology.” Jared Spataro, vice president of Modern Work at Microsoft.

Compared to the free version of Microsoft Teams, Teams Essentials offers expanded limits like longer meetings and more storage. Teams Essentials includes unlimited group meetings for up to 30 hours, options to organize meetings for up to 300 people, and up to 10GB of cloud storage per user.
