Miguel Cristofino has returned to Portugal after heading to Poland to deliver goods to the victims of the war in Ukraine. Returning to Lisbon, the DAMA musician is accompanied by two refugee women and four children.
“Now we are about 3,200 kilometers from home, on the road to Lisbon. Two women, Oksana and Maria, are traveling with us, accompanied by their children”stated on his Instagram page.
“They both have two children under the age of 13,” he said. “Oksana walked 14 hours with her young children from Ukraine to the Polish border. 14 hours. Half the time it took to drive here we got.”
“This afternoon, in the warehouse where we unloaded all the goods we brought, there were three women, volunteers, who welcomed us and told us how the daily supplies of the Ukrainian people were collected,” he added.
And before the singer finished, she revealed that the day ended with special news. His family grew with the birth of his cousin Constance. What a day to celebrate you [às mulheres]’, he finished.
