The player had agreed a three-year contract for €1.5m per season a few days ago, but he will ask for more on Wednesday.

The newspaper “La Gazzetta dello Sport” revealed that Milan is upset about the delay in signing Mehdi Taremi to Porto, due to the player’s salary demands.

According to the newspaper, the Iranian had already agreed to a three-year contract a few days ago, for which he received 1.5 million euros per season, in addition to bonuses. But he adds that the player asked for more on Wednesday, which delayed the positive result, after securing an agreement with FC Porto for €15m.

Milan want to overturn the transfer ban on Thursday. As a player from outside the European Union, the bureaucracy is longer and more complicated to register in Italy. On Friday, the club wants to focus only on the match against Roma.
