Erik Follestad, 34, says he will of course pay the fine if it comes.
In the VGTV series “Til fjells med Folle”, Follestad, as presenter, will take five famous faces on a trip to the cabin where they will participate in a number of competitions.
In the first episode, Follestad is the driver of the car, while Helen Olafsen and Mia Hundveen are passengers. At some point, Volestad picked up his cell phone while driving.
Daily newspaper I reported it first.
– This is of course stupid, and I will of course pay the fine if I am reported, Volstad writes in an SMS to VG.
Using a mobile phone while driving can be punished with a fine of NOK 9,750 and three points on the driving licence.
VGTV editor Rolf Sønstelie saw the episode himself and admitted something happened
– We interpreted the situation as looking at the map, and this is something a human should understand, but it is also not something you should do, nor is it legal. So he didn’t have to do it, he told VG.
