Do you have a Tesla? As we know, the autonomous driving area still has a lot to develop. Elon Musk himself has already acknowledged the complexity and challenges because there are so many variables.

Last week, a Twitter user posted a “strange” thing that happened while a Tesla car was on autopilot. watching video.

Tesla autopilot: Moon identified as a "yellow mark"

Jordan Nelson was cruising on a highway in North Carolina, US, when he realized that his Tesla had temporarily slowed down after he thought the moon was a yellow traffic light.

The flaw was logged and later shared on Twitter by Nelson. In the post, Jordan Nelson identified Elon Musk, but did not respond to the information.

Despite what happened, the Tesla later maintained a steady speed, with AutoPilot only braking or slowing down if it detected another car or person in front of it. It's worth noting that since 2020, Tesla's autopilot has been able to interpret traffic lights and STOP signals.

This "bug" should be fixed in the next system update with the release of Tesla Vision. This update is expected to be released in the coming months.

The company recently reported record profits close to a billion. According to recent data, the company's quarterly profit from the automotive sector for the first time reached $1.1 billion (932 million euros). The calculations are done, and Tesla is now making a profit 10 times what was recorded in the same period. Tesla is now worth about $630 billion in the market (534 billion euros), 14 times more than it was just two years ago.
