Mortal Kombat 1 has finally been announced by NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Games, which decided to reboot the famous universe and create a new timeline, means there is a lot to tell and a lot of origin stories ready to be revealed.
When asked by a fan about the origin of Mileena, who was created by Shang Tsun in previous timelines, Boon replied that this character’s origin, and that of many others, will be told in Story Mode of Mortal Kombat 1, which will arrive in September 19th on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Mortal Kombat 1 will include many things related to the origin of these characters in Story Mode, says Boon, the lead in charge of the series, as the universe has been rebooted and there are new versions of popular fighters from the series.
