Natal expands D2 and starts vaccination trailer on Saturdays – 10/21/2021 – News

The city of Natal on Thursday (21) is extending the deadlines for the second dose of vaccines against Covid-19. Oxford D2 will be available for those who have taken the first dose by August 31, and the second dose of Pfizer for those who have taken D1 by August 17. Anyone who has taken Coronavac for the past 28 days can also take D2. Immunomodulators will be available in all immunization rooms in all UBS’s, as well as in the vaccine trailer in Tirol.

Pregnant women who have taken the first dose with Oxford Immunization Agent and who, as recommended by the Department of Health, have not taken the second dose, may supplement their vaccination schedule with a Pfizer vaccination device and at any UBS in town or at any time of application.

The third dose may be taken by the general population aged 60 years and over; and health professionals and workers from age 30 onwards. It is necessary to complete the vaccination schedule with two doses or one dose of any immunizing agent (Coronavac, Oxford or Pfizer) for a period of six months or 180 days.

Immunosuppressed individuals may also receive D3, provided they have completed the vaccination schedule in the last 28 days, with a medical report within the categories: severe primary immunodeficiency; cancer chemotherapy; solid organ or hematopoietic stem cell (HSCT) transplants using immunosuppressive drugs; people infected with HIV/AIDS; use of steroids at doses >20 mg/day of prednisone, or equivalent, for >14 days; Use of drugs that modify the immune response or patients on dialysis and patients with chronic, immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (rheumatic diseases, autoimmune diseases, intestinal infections).

Starting Saturday (23), the Christmas Vaccination Trailer, parked on the IFRN Central dock, will begin dispensing the first, second or third dose of coronavirus vaccines. Open from 8am to 3pm, always Monday through Saturday, with vaccinations for Natal residents.

To check all vaccination points, documents and queues in the capital’s drives, simply visit the website vacina.natal.rn.gov.br. It is also possible to register bedridden people in D3 on the website, if the user is not enrolled in a basic health unit.
