| IGCP advances with debt swaps |

Portugal wants to defer the payment of part of the debt that has reached its maturity next year and in 2027. The Treasury and Public Debt Management Agency (IGCP) announced that this Wednesday it will carry out an offer to exchange the bond for a long-term one. On the one hand, IGCP will buy two-line (OT) Treasury notes in the market. At stake are OTs maturing on February 15, 2024, which are placed at a coupon of 5.65%, as well as OTs with a maturity of April 14, 2027, at a coupon of 4.125%. On the other hand, the agency led by Miguel Martin sells two lines of securities. The first matures on July 16, 2032 and carries a coupon of 1.65% and the second matures on April 11, 2042 and carries a coupon of 1.15%.
