The press release says the new luxury watch from Tag Heuer is inspired by Nintendo’s iconic mascot and features a 45mm display, built-in heart rate meter, compass, accelerometer, water resistance to 5ATM and two straps: a red rubber strap and a black leather strap. The watch includes a 430mAh battery, which Tag Heuer claims provides a full day of life.
Tag Heuer’s Mario watch also includes Google’s Wear OS, which means they can access features found in other wearables, such as the Google Assistant.
As you’d expect, this limited edition also includes a Super Mario interface with four themes to choose from, such as one where Mario becomes invisible or where Mario sits atop one of the famous green pipes. Tag Heuer confirmed that they will be using a “stimulus reward system,” where Mario greets each hour-bearer every morning upon waking, with different animations playing as they complete a step such as their daily step count.
The Mario smartwatch will be available from July 15th, but beware, it was only available 2000 units createdThe purchase depends on the area in which they live.
