Since 2016, the demand for IPA and the consequent popularity has not ceased. More than a category, it’s the fastest growing style of beer, with Lagunitas being the world’s number one IPA in sales. Perhaps that is why, some time after its origins, in the mid-19th century, during the British occupation of India, this style of craft beer still stands out to the point of being celebrated globally, by the International Day of IPA, which is celebrated this year in The fifth of August.

To celebrate history in Portugal, Lagunitas has created a refreshing campaign with the offer of IPA, in other purchase, at 79 points of sale selected by the consumer, from the north to the south of the country.

Lagunitas IPA is an amber beer, more bitter, that has intense, refreshing hop aromas and is longer lasting. It also has a touch of caramel malt which makes it richer and gives more texture, balancing the bitterness. It has an alcohol content of 6.2% and should ideally be consumed between 4 and 7 degrees Celsius.
