OPPO will have a SoC ready to be launched on a smartphone

Like Apple, it seems that brands like OPPO or Xiaomi also want to bet on their SoC. This will ensure complete control when it comes to its performance and all other factors. It is OPPO who now seems ready to show its novelty in this field.

There is a growing interest on the part of smartphone brands to fully control the production of their devices.  These are slowly trying to fill the space that the big manufacturers have, testing their creativity in increasingly real and complex scenarios.
This is what we saw in OPPO using its own MariSilicon, which showed what it can create, both for Bluetooth and for photographs.  Now it looks like the brand wants to go ahead and launch its own SoC soon on one of its smartphones.

This isn't the first time this topic has been made public, with clear information emerging in the past.  This showed that OPPO is ahead of Qualcomm and MediaTek, by creating its first SoC, internally designed and ready to take up space in the brand's smartphones.
This move now seems much closer to becoming a reality. According to the information that appeared.  Interestingly, they came from a MediaTek manager, who revealed at an event that OPPO really wants to push ahead with the SoC and it already has it in an advanced state of preparation.

This official revealed that OPPO's upcoming novelty is already in a "sign off" state, which means it is designed and ready to start production.  The advanced deadlines put OPPO on starting to use its new production as early as 2024 on the equipment.

What is not yet known is who will produce the new OPPO SoC.  Even with the information reaching MediaTek, it is not clear if this manufacturer is taking orders from the Chinese smartphone company.
